BUN BO HUE is a type of rice noodle from the Central of Vietnam

It has beef, pork, rice noodle and raw vegetable. In the soup of BUN BO HUE, there are ingredients and spices like lemongrass, garlic, chili, fish sauce, and especially Hue shrimp paste . Special spices combined with cow bone create a pleasant aroma.

Everyone likes to eat this dish, except those who cannot eat beef (cannot smell beef, do not eat beef because of their own beliefs and religion). I have a friend who doesn't eat beef after seeing a cow being slaughtered for food.

I’m sure many people will dislike it, and just as many people will like it - this is really quite unsurprising as people vary in what they like or dislike.

I love it.

I could eat it every day, all day long.

No, most of Vietnamese people I see tend to love Bún bò Huế more than our specialitat Phở. May be you just found a not good place to eat. In Ho Chi Minh only, have a thousand restaurant, booth selling Bún bò Huế. But the most important thing is you must find a good place to eat. There is no common recipe or taste of Bún bò Huế in Viet Nam. If you are in Ho Chi Minh city, I would recommend you to try out the Bún bò Huế in Nam Giao restaurant in Bùi Viện area. If you still don't like it, may be it just doesn't match you. Try something else, there are still a thousand unique things to eat in Việt Nam

Me, i tend to like things that simple and consistent, in case of Bun bo Hue, there is too many things in 1 bowl so i am fail in catching its main flavour.
