Vietnamese come in all shape and size. Some are well educated and good manner, some leave school at early age but still have good manner, some are well educated but really shallow and rude and some have neither of those. It is depend on the environment, timing and luck for you to meet one kind of people, or all of those kind of people.

The primary culture of Vietnam is Confucius. Education has been loved and important for centuries. That is why, despite the current relatively low incomes, The children are all well educated.

We Vietnamese are just normally educated in intellectual context. Vietnam is just a cheap manufacture region in Southeast Asia, not an innovation center.

In context of Morality, most young Vietnamese today are worse and terribly educated. They are materialistic and don't care much about morality and good social standards. Many young girls around 15–25 years old always insult other people with dirty words such as 'fuck you, fuck your mother', when these girls get angry and conflicts. The young boys and men are violent, they are ready to beat and attack other people on streets just because of small conflicts. The situation is very sad and horrible.

All the veitnamese I have met are very highly educated with good manners but they are very serious people and probably that's why alot of people think they are full of themselves, personally I think they are down to earh people when you are having a serious conversation with them , good things about them that they dont look at your colour or ethnic group and they read alot , I have had many drinks with veitnamese in here and its so comfortable to be around them and it's do nice because the doctors who work in Royal free hospital is drinking with guys who work with me in the courier company.

What I like more about the veitnamese in london specifically that they all speak good English and they are very fast learners.

I mean comparing them to other communities like Koreans which there is a big community here as well , but unfortunately they are not as well educated as the veitnamese.

It depends on the person you are talking to. Most young people (born 2000 or later) benefit from the current national education system, most will get at least a college degree to secure a job position.

Vietnam’s Exceptional Learning Success: Can We Do That Too?

Research is now being done to explain the reasons behind Vietnam’s disproportionate success in education.

I suspect the East Asian cultural ethos (including the high value placed on educational achievement) plays a big role. This is also seen in the confucianist societies in China, Japan, Korea.
