Is Chook Mung Namoi Happy New Year in Vietnamese?

A friend at work many years ago wished me Happy New Year in Vietnamese and this is how I remember it.  Is it correct?  Thank you !

Yes, you are correct.

"Chuc Mung Nam Moi" is how you say "Happ New Year" in Vietnamese.
