Vietnamese love their family most of all. For them it is the centre of the universe. ‘Family’means extended family, which can mean hundreds of people. My wife’s great grand father had fourteen children from three wives. One of thos children had 12 children. Now my wife has no idea her total number of relatives, but we visit many all over Vietnam, from Hanoi to the Mekon delta. It’s like one, big, cosy club.

Durian.

They love Durian more than anything.

It smells like rotting flesh but is meant to taste like heaven.

Dont believe them.

It tastes aweful!
