Where to stay in Hoi an ?

Question

Anyone has recommendation for good accommodation? Is it best to stay at the beach side or on the river in Hoi an. We'r thinking of staying for 6 days. Thank you!

you are much better off staying in town-the town is beautiful and you will have no trouble spending six days there - there are lots of things to fill your time.
If you really want, it won't be any trouble arranging a day trip to Hue. it's not ideal and very exhausting, but I meet people every time I'm in Hoi An who have done it.

Try East West Villas. On Cua Dai rd, half way between the beach and ancient town. Family owned and operated. Lovely place and people!!

Highly recommend to stay near old town, it is easy to enjoy the activities or strolling around at night. From old town to the beach is not too far also, you can rent a bike to go there easily.

Look at Riverside Impression Homestay - a wonderful family owned, small hotel close to the center of town (Cam Nam Island) - my new favorite for comfort, location and friendliness! I paid $37.
