We are looking to book a foodie tour one evening in April in Ho Chi Minh.
I've seen a lot of good things about XO Tours but its quite expensive. Is it the best one? Any others you can recommend? We are happy to pay more if its good!
Also, is it safe going around on their motorbikes that they have?
I would class XO as the best and the girl drivers are well trained. The best advice I can give is if you are a solidly built westerner (read fat) then don't lean back as it makes it very difficult for a tiny Vietnamese girl to counterbalance you. Lean forward so the Centre of gravity stays with her.
You will be fine. In fact, many think it's the best way to get your feet wet.Take it from an ex-Saigonese.I always take people around on motorbike when they visit at the same time as I do.They all love it, even the little ones.Cheers.
