Best Bars to hang out at Night in HCMC?

I will have a few nights by myself while here in Saigon, and was wondering if anyone could tell me where the good bars/pubs are located? I had read about the backpackers area, but am not sure if that is for me as my college days are 20 years behind me. Perhaps I am wrong... Anyways...was just looking for some recommendations on fun places to hang out. Thank you!

Chill Sky , Alto Helio - both hv great views, expensive. Research happy hours. Also like the bar at Majestic hotel for a few quiet drinks and nice view over river.

Saigon Saigon bar on the rooftop at the Caravelle Hotel....yes the drinks are expensive- but the Cuban band and the atmosphere are great fun.
also love the rooftop bar at the Rex hotel- same as above applies.
