If they stop you, the best choice is pay the bribe. Without paying the bribe, you’ll certainly get a ticket. When you do, your license will be confiscated. The best advice here is don’t try to be oustanding.

Cops here can and will stop anyone, for any reason, or no reason at all. This is permitted by law, the way the system is currently set up. They will stop you, no warning. But you’re foreigner so don’t worried, just pretend that you don’t understan what they say. And don’t even use a Vietnamese’ word but "Cam on"
