I will be in Ho Chi Minh around Jun. We will then go to beaches area for few days. I will need a bikini to swim. Can anybody tell me which a good place to buy bikinis? I like forever 21 bikinis (or similar ones) which I hear Vietnam has some good places to shop forever 21. Thanks.

Street of Gold

Ton That Thiep Street has become one of District One’s most charming boutique postcodes, where fashion, soft furnishings, gifts and homewares shops such as Peacock, MH crafts and Saigon Kitsch rub shoulders with indulgent spas and quaint ice cream parlours. Galerie Royale (37–39 Ton That Thiep) is one of the street’s most recent additions, with splashes of colour from artfully displayed men’s and women’s wear collections by La Perla, Korloff and Kenzo accenting two floors of bright, airy space. “And everything is 20 to 40% off,” coos the elegant saleslady as we stroke silk ties and soft embroidered knits.

I live in Nha Trang a beach city in Vietnam. We have a couple of good biikini shops here, sorry I don't know the names but one is on Tran Quan Khai next to Jungle Travel. As well as a pretty good selection they will also make them for you in 1-2 days, choice of fabrics and styles, or they can copy an old one you have. They range between 300-500,000 vnd [$15-25]. The other shop on Hung Vuong, after Rainbow Divers does the same, they have a few Victorias Secret
bikinis, a bit more expensive there, 500,000.

There is a street I call the night fashion street and the local Vietnamese girls come out in droves after the heat of the day is gone and the much cooler evening means retail therapy. The street is called Nguyen Trai Street in District 5. A taxi from D1 will cost you between $2 and $3 get him to drive down Nguyen Trai st till you come to the diagonal crossroads of Tran Phu st and get out and walk back along the street. shoes hand bags you name it this is the young peoples fashion street.
