Buy a motorbike helmet

Question

Hi, I have just came to Hanoi and really hoping to use the motorbike taxis a few times hang over but I don't want to wear a helmet that has been worn by hundreds of people, Is there a good place to buy one and roughly what should I expect to pay please? I checked Google but that was showing info from 2011. Thanks in advance

You can go to one of Huyenanh helmet shops. You can check this link huyenanh.com.vn and scroll down for the addresses. I think 152 Ngô Gia Tự St, Long Biên is the best and it near Old Quarter that you can walk

They are for sale everywhere on pavement but poor quality. 5usd should cover it....better quality are more expensive. I used to bring my own one.

You can buy helmets here : mubaohiem.com.vn . At about $15 I have doubts about the helmets being genuine Honda, but they'll be much sturdier than the cheap egg-shell ones on sale in the Old Quarter.
Protec helmets can be bought at 12B Ngoc Khanh, Ba Dinh District, which is also an inconvenient location.
