Idiom Scenario 1:

I have been working at the same job for fifteen years.  The job is OK but I am not very enthusiastic about it.  I have a conservative life.  My routine is fixed.  I do the same things every day.  Yesterday, I was offered a job in a foreign country.  The job is something I have never done before.  I do not really know about the foreign country or the new job but I think that, maybe, I am ready for a change.
Should I throw caution to the wind and take the new job?
