District 1 hotels which have swimming pool & free to use

Question

We're spending our last day in Saigon - District 1 - but have booked a hotel without a swimming pool and due to it being so hot we'd rather spend our last day sitting around a pool. Does anyone know of any hotels which are happy for non residents to use their pool (perhaps if we buy lunch or a couple of drinks?) Thanks.

Pay for fitness Center & Pool of some upscale hotels. look up New World, Caravella, Rex ..

Back in April I paid VND130,000 to use the swimming pool at The Grand Hotel on Dong Khoi. Gets busy when the day tours come back in the afternoon. The New World Hotel near Ben Thanh market has a much bigger pool for a much bigger cost. From memory it was around VND400,000, maybe a bit more but worth the splurge as I was stuck in town on a dental visit. I would avoid it on their pool party days though. Back then it was a Saturday.
I've been told by an expat that there is a good public pool out near the zoo in Dist. 2. Hope this post isn't too late.

Liberty Central Saigon Citypoint is one of the best hotels and has beautiful pool in HCMC. This hotel in a good location to most attractions. If you stay here you. If you stay here you can go to Ben Thanh market in less than five minutes and other places, too.
