Nguyễn Công Phượng (born 21 January 1995) is a Vietnamese footballer who plays as a forward for 2015 V.League 1 club Hoàng Anh Gia Lai F.C.
Công Phượng is a product of HAGL – Arsenal JMG Academy, he was promoted to Hoàng Anh Gia Lai F.C. first team in 2015. He captained Vietnam U–19 side at 2014 AFC U-19 Championship. Nicknamed "Vietnamese Messi"[1][2] by fan and media due to his playing style and body physic, Công Phượng is one of the most promising football talent in Vietnam.[3]
